I retired in April 2006 with 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. I am a Desert Storm, a Gulf War Veteran and Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran. I worked as a Mental Health Nurse during my Desert Storm deployment. While deployed from 2005-2006 to Balad, I worked as the Medical/Surgical Ward Flight Commander and Infection Control Nurse at the largest surgical trauma hospital in Iraq. I also have extensive experience working with Veterans recovering from the trauma of Post Traumatic Stress.
